Back in the day , when I was setting up this business, I decided to carve a broken pick-axe handle as a bas-relief of a griffon.  The griffon is a development of a henna tattoo that I drew on my wife's shoulder; which, in its turn, was based on a wrought metal candle holder that was one of the first things we acquired together.  Dead meaningful, an' that.
